During our outreach in Capiz, we had an unexpected encounter with persons with disabilities who needed our help. Most of them are unable to walk and don’t have wheelchairs. One of the most notable people we met was an elderly man who needs to undergo leg amputation because of an infection.
It’s tough living in these rural areas. Medical missions rarely reach these places and people who need immediate attention hardly receive help. During our encounter, we supplied food but this is obviously not enough. Therefore, we are seeking donations for medicine and other medical needs.
